Sister Findley is part of the wheelchair initiative here in Ghana, and other countries in West Africa. I had the pleasure of coming and seeing first hand the great work they are doing with those that are desperate for assistance. Being in that room where they were assembling the wheelchairs and giving instructions fit my heart exactly. The work of this church has a myriad of corridors, and I love being on the ground to witness it first hand.

These Missionaries
These Missionaries are true Senior Missionaries, Barretts, coming in from Liberia. They were evacuated and reassigned to Ghana. They miss their mission with tears in their eyes. They truly know how to serve in the green beret vineyard.
One, Two, Three Push
This was a dead battery, man power and someone with jumper cables. Elder Terry is the one with a white shirt bringing up the rear. The Lord loves looking over His missionaries. We love the people, and their hearts. Thank you Heavenly Father for sending us here.

No Beard
As you can see the beard didn't make the rest of the week at the MTC. It had to go back and repeat the class. We are excited to be boarding the plane tomorrow, and rolling up our sleeves and getting to work. The MTC was an amazing experience to start out our journey with. At the end of our classes they said, "Now, go and do good". We plan on doing just that.

Ready to Fly
You can imagine my surprise when I went to the mailroom one day, and found that someone had mailed me a package. As I opened it up and found Peanut Butter, I knew it had to be from someone who had traveled over to Africa on our expeditions. Sure enough Deb had thought of everything inside that box....peanut butter and chocolate. Thanks Deb for sending me out with my lunch for at least a couple of months.
